John U. Parolo Trust has pledged $2 million to Pittsburg State University Nursing School over the course of 5 years. The donation will help build a 5,000 square foot simulation hospital next to McPherson Hall, adjacent to the Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing. In addition, targeted renovations to the existing building will take place, allowing the space to accommodate 120 students.  The Trust also provides each student in the PSU Nursing Program with their stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs.

John Parolo Education Center broke ground on May 3, 2021.  The community health center will house medical intern programs and provide healthcare education to the next generation.
